Service

Grantcheck is a free reference tool for looking up cost classifications and report deadlines under 2 CFR 200. It is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind.

Not legal advice

The information returned by this tool is a reading aid for 2 CFR 200, not legal advice, not a compliance record, not an audit opinion, and not a substitute for reading the full regulation and your specific award terms. You should always consult the original text of 2 CFR 200 and seek advice from qualified professionals for compliance decisions.

No accounts

This site does not offer user accounts, logins, or registration. No personal data is collected, stored, or processed. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to sign into.

Availability

This tool is provided free of charge. No guarantee of availability, uptime, or uninterrupted access is made. The tool may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice.

Billing (paid tiers — planned)

The Professional and Enterprise tiers described below are planned but not yet available. No payment information is collected on this site today. The following billing terms will apply from the date paid tiers launch.

What you purchase

A subscription to Grantcheck grants access to the features listed on the Pricing page for the selected tier during the subscription period. Subscriptions are for the account holder only and may not be shared across multiple organisations unless purchased under an Enterprise plan.

Prices and billing period

Annual billing at a discounted rate may be offered as an option at launch. All prices are in US dollars. Applicable taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax) will be added at checkout where required.

Payment method

Subscriptions are paid by credit or debit card through a third-party payment processor (Stripe). By subscribing, you authorise the processor to charge your card on the billing date. Card details are handled by the payment processor; Grantcheck does not see or store full card numbers.

Failed payments

If a payment fails on the billing date, the processor will automatically retry the charge up to three times over the following five days. If payment still cannot be collected after the final retry, access to the paid tier will be suspended. Your data will not be deleted during suspension. If payment is completed within 30 days of suspension, access will be restored. If no payment is received within 30 days, the subscription will lapse and access to paid-tier features ends.

Refund policy

Because Grantcheck is a digital service that is fully accessible upon payment, subscriptions are non-refundable except in cases of extended service unavailability (more than 72 consecutive hours of downtime) or billing error. Refund requests for these reasons may be submitted through the contact method listed on this page and will be reviewed within 14 business days.

If a billing error results in an overcharge, the difference will be refunded or credited to your account, at your choice.

Cancellation

You may cancel your paid subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Access to paid-tier features continues through the remainder of that period and does not receive a pro-rata refund. Downgrading from a paid tier to the Free tier takes effect at the end of the current period.

Changes to pricing

Pricing for new subscribers is as published on the Pricing page. Existing subscribers will receive at least 30 days' notice of any price increase and may cancel before the new price takes effect.

Availability of paid tiers

Paid tiers have not yet launched. The launch date, feature set and pricing are subject to change before launch. This page will be updated, and the date at the bottom of this page revised, when paid tiers become available.
